What We Do
Four interconnected programmes tackling the root causes of poor health in refugee and marginalised communities across Nepal.
Physical & Mental Health Awareness
Our community-based health awareness initiatives bring critical knowledge about physical and mental wellbeing directly to the people who need it most — through workshops, outreach events, and partnerships with local organisations.
- Organising health camps and free medical screenings in underserved areas
- Conducting mental health awareness sessions and counselling support
- Training local health advocates to sustain community wellness efforts
- Providing referrals and follow-up care for chronic and acute conditions
Primary Health Posts
We are committed to establishing local healthcare centres in some of Nepal's most remote and underserved regions — serving as the first line of medical care for communities with no other access to doctors, medicine, or emergency services.
- Building and equipping community health posts in rural areas
- Running maternal and child health programmes for vulnerable families
- Delivering first aid services and essential vaccinations
- Providing health worker training for sustainable local care
Research & Implementation
Our research programme focuses on studying healthcare challenges unique to marginalised communities and developing evidence-based solutions — combining rigorous research with on-the-ground implementation for lasting change.
- Conducting public health research in refugee and rural settings
- Developing innovative care models tailored to local needs
- Monitoring and evaluating programme outcomes for continuous improvement
- Collaborating with global health organisations to share knowledge
Education for Women & Children
Education is the cornerstone of lasting change. Our programmes focus on empowering women and children in marginalised communities with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to build healthier futures for themselves and their families.
- Health literacy workshops for women and adolescent girls
- Creative learning initiatives combining art, expression, and health education
- Mentorship and community engagement programmes
- Breaking the cycle of poverty and poor health through knowledge
